In this role, you will serve as a senior technical leader driving the secure development of products across the software lifecycle, partnering with engineering and site reliability teams to embed security principles from design through deployment. This ensures platforms are resilient, cloud-ready, and compliant with industry standards, influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, and guiding security practices for both traditional and AI/ML systems. You will lead cross-team initiatives.

Partner with Development and SRE teams to embed security into every stage of the SSDLC—ensuring our platforms are resilient, cloud-ready, and built with security by design. You’ll embed security throughout the SSDLC by partnering with Development and SRE teams covering threat modeling, secure design reviews, coding practices, and CI/CD pipeline security.

The Product Security team is responsible for ensuring Yubico develops and maintains secure products and services. Your primary responsibility is to collaborate with the firmware and software teams to design and integrate solutions that support secure design and development practices. You will also employ static and dynamic analysis methodologies to identify and remedy complex vulnerabilities across our products.

As a Security Architect, inspire trust by owning a broad security mandate and supporting day-to-day cyber defence through the design and implementation of security technologies. You will create solutions that underpin NEC’s cyber security programme, ensuring compliance with architecture principles and security standards to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient services. Responsibilities include threat modelling and risk assessment.
